Hello, my name is “eveartsz”. Welcome to eve art contest, your home for eve related art competitions. My mission is to make eve beautiful and this blog represents an effort to get this mission going. After seeing the submissions of the "create a starship" contest on deviantart, it occurred to me that there is a great number of talented and creative eveonline players out there. So, why not putt all these people to work? If you are a creative person, participate in in the eve art contest, win ISK and have fun doing it. Please check the "rules" section of the blog to learn the specifics about participating and voting on all the different competitions and also check out the "donations" sections to find out how you can help with the cause. Rules for participating in eve art contest

- you must have a valid, payed and up to date eve online account (no trial accounts)
- you are not allowed to plagiarize artwork (if I spot something ripped off, your submission will be scraped)
- if you spot a submission that you think is plagiarized, please report this to me
- when submitting artwork, you must fill in the "comment as" box with your eve character name
- you are not allowed to submit after the deadline; if you do, you submission will be scraped
- submissions will be... erm... submited as comments; post the following in one single comment:
                    - the name of your eve online character
                    - link to your image submission (please use a third party image hosting website)
                    - the title (if any) of your artwork
                    - a brief description of your submission (optional)
- when time is up, I will post all the artworks neatly in a new post and voting can begin.


Rules for voting on eve art contest

- you must have a valid, payed and up to date eve online account (no trial accounts)
- you are allowed to vote only if you have participated in the contest round
- when voting, you must fill in the "comment as" box with your eve character name
- voting for yourself is strictly forbidden; self-votes will be considered null
- voting is done publicly through comments; post the following in one single comment:
                    - the name of your eve online character
                    - your vote
                    - a brief statement about why you voted for "x" (optional)
- voting ends either on the deadline or when all the participants of the contest round have voted
- to prevent false votes, after leaving a comment with your vote, also send your vote to "eveartsz" through evemail (votes made only in comments or only through evemail will be considered null, you must vote both in comments and evemail to "eveartsz")
